Your body does not need to look like your teammates’ bodies

People grow at different times and in different ways. Being taller, shorter, curvier, flatter-chested, developing earlier or developing later does not make you any less sporty or any less part of the team.

You deserve privacy and respect

You should have an appropriate place to change and manage your period. Nobody should photograph you in a changing area, pressure you to expose your body, or make sexual or humiliating comments about your body.

If something feels uncomfortable

Tell a parent, carer, coach, safeguarding lead, teacher or another trusted adult. You do not have to keep something secret because you are worried about causing a fuss.
